Bottega Veneta’s Cruise 2010/2011 collection is urbane, at ease, and particular and continues last fall’s exploration of line and motion, this time in the relaxed cadence of the Cruise season. There are boxy, tailored jackets and roomy, menswear-inspired pleated pants. A dress with the shape of a square is transformed when a woman walks, moving like a flag in the breeze. “The collection explores the way that movement can transform the silhouette,” says Creative Director Tomas Maier. “Everything is easy to wear but the design and construction are precise.
